Lists and downloads

How do I create a list, and what does it cost?

The card’s footer holds the list name, the number of businesses (50,000 max per list) and the “Create list · N credits” button; the line under the button shows what you’ll have left. Above 10,000 businesses, the list fills in the background and its page shows progress.

Exporting costs 1 credit per business you haven’t received before; on Agency it’s included (“Create list · included”), under fair use. You’re never charged twice for the same business, even in another list, so the actual charge can be lower than shown. The “Exclude businesses already delivered to me” filter removes them from results.

Enrichments (Decision makers, Website summary…) run afterwards, from the list. Deleting a list or removing rows isn’t refunded. Merging lists, from Lists, is free.

What does the “Has email” filter change?

When it’s on, only businesses with an email are kept: the big number on the card becomes an estimate of emails, and the list asks for a number of emails.

Emails we’ve already found are delivered right away. For the other businesses, we try common addresses on their website’s domain (info@, contact@…): only those that pass our check are added, up to the number you asked for. A row whose email turns out to be undeliverable is removed and refunded.

The “Create list · up to N credits” button shows the maximum: 1 credit per business delivered (included on Agency) and 1 credit to verify its email, reserved at creation.

How do I add more businesses to a list?

When a list doesn’t hold every business from its search, a line under its title says so: “N businesses from the original search aren’t in this list yet”.

The “Add more businesses” button asks for the maximum number to add, then “Add to my list”. Everything already in the list stays, with its results. Each business added costs 1 credit if you haven’t received it before (included on Agency).

You can also ask the assistant from the list page (“add the rest of the search to this list”): it suggests the number and the cost, and waits for your OK.

How do I filter and download a list?

On a list page, “Show only:” filters the rows: “Website”, “Email”, “Phone”, “Decision maker found”. “More filters” opens the search filters (contact info, rating, chains…); “Show all” goes back to the whole list.

The “Download” menu offers:

  • “CSV (all columns)”, comma-separated
  • “Excel, choose columns…”, with the “All”, “Key contacts” and “Default” presets; your choice is saved

Downloading again is free. To remove rows, check them, then “Remove from list” (no refund).

What does “rarely searched location” mean, and how long does it take?

Some locations are searched so rarely that we refresh their data only when you create a list; the card tells you when that’s the case. The number shown is an estimate (“≈”). In some of them, a list covers a region or a city, never the whole country.

The list is created right away and fills as the update runs: under an hour for a few hundred businesses, about an hour for 10,000, a few hours beyond that. You can close the page; we email you when a list that takes a while is ready. “Stop update” stops it anytime.

At creation, the estimate plus 10% (or the number you chose) is set aside from your balance; only businesses delivered are charged and the rest comes back. If the area holds more, the list shows the exact number and offers “Add more businesses”.

Enrichments

How do I find decision makers?

On a list page, “Decision makers” opens the assistant, which explains the enrichment and its maximum cost, then runs it once you approve.

In the US, there’s no public registry of owners, so we search Google for the business’s owner or an executive and give you the page that names them. In France, decision makers come from the government business registry, with their first name, last name and title, plus the SIREN and SIRET numbers.

10 credits per US business with at least one decision maker found (2 credits in France), nothing otherwise. A business’s trade name often differs from its legal name, so matching sometimes fails, and the hit rate varies a lot by industry.

What are Website summary and Ask the website for?

Both read the website of each business in the list.

  • Website summary says in a few lines what the business does. Run it with the list’s “Website summary” button.
  • Ask the website answers a specific question (“do they offer delivery?”). Ask the assistant for it, from the list page.

Each costs 1 credit per row analyzed, even if the answer is no. A business with no website, an unreachable site or no usable content isn’t charged. The assistant shows the maximum cost and waits for your OK.

How does the AI filter work?

The AI filter judges each business in the list against a criterion you describe (“sells to businesses”), using the data we already have, without reading the website. Each row gets a verdict: match, no match or unsure. 1 credit per row analyzed, whatever the verdict; the assistant shows the maximum cost and waits for your OK.

Then you have two options on the list page:

  • “Check the websites of the N unsure ones”: the website of each unsure row is read to decide, 1 credit per site;
  • “Remove the N with no match”, after you confirm.

The “match”, “no match” and “unsure” chips filter the list by verdict.

Account, credits and the assistant

How much do credits and plans cost?

Searching, counts and the preview are free. Everything else is paid in credits:

  • 1 credit per business exported, if you haven’t received it before
  • 1 credit per row analyzed by the AI filter, Website summary or Ask the website
  • 10 credits per US business with at least one decision maker found (2 in France), nothing otherwise
  • 5 credits per message to the assistant
  • 1 credit per email verified in a list, on request
  • Pro: $59/month, 10,000 credits per month
  • Agency: $119/month (launch offer, normally $239), exports included, 100,000 AI credits per month

Top-ups of $20, $50 or $100 at your plan’s rate. 300 credits free when you sign up, no credit card needed. Unused credits roll over to the next month; the ones that expire soonest are used first. If you cancel, they expire at the end of the paid period. You can pay in US dollars or euros; your currency is locked in at your first payment.

What does “unlimited exports” mean on Agency?

On Agency, creating a list uses no credits, up to 50,000 rows per list. The only limit is fair use: an account can export up to 10% of a country’s businesses in any rolling 30-day period, capped at 2 million (the US limit; about 840,000 in France). Need more? We can lift the limit once we’ve verified your company. One list exports at a time; one account per person or company.

Downloading a list again or re-exporting a business you already have never counts. At 80% of the limit, you’ll see a notice; at the limit, the screen shows the date you can export again. Details: our Fair use policy.

The plan’s AI credits pay for the rest: enrichments, decision makers, guessed emails, messages, and email verification on request (“Verify emails · N credits” on the list, 1 credit per email verified); until then, an email is “unverified”.

How do I manage my account and subscription?

“Billing” (at the bottom of the left sidebar; on mobile, the “Account” tab) shows your balance, the plans and your credit activity. You can subscribe or switch plans (at renewal), top up (a top-up needs an active subscription), manage your card and invoices with “Manage subscription and invoices”, or schedule cancellation at the end of the paid period.

“Settings” lets you change your password and delete your account (current password required; remaining credits aren’t refunded). You can’t change your account email in the app: email us.

“Lists” gathers your lists and the searches that aren’t lists yet, with their status: “Ready”, “Creating”, “Updating” (the list is filling), “Failed” (credits refunded) or “Draft search”.

What is the API, and who can use it?

The API lets an AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) or your own tools do what the app does: find the categories for a target, count, estimate, create lists, run enrichments and download. It’s available to Pro and Agency subscribers.

Create a key on the “API keys” page (at the bottom of the left sidebar; on mobile, the “Account” tab): it’s shown only once, with the text to paste into Claude. Keep it secret; you can revoke it anytime or set a monthly credit cap.

Same prices and same balance as the app. A category suggestion, the starting point of any target, costs 100 credits; counting, previewing and estimating are free. The docs, with prices and limits, are at primaverapp.com/en/docs/api.

Can I get an invoice in my company’s name?

Yes. At checkout, Stripe’s secure page asks for your billing name and address, and a tax ID if you have one (an EIN or an EU VAT number, for example): they appear on the invoice. Prices don’t include tax; any applicable tax is calculated by Stripe based on your country and tax ID.

Every subscription payment and every top-up has its own invoice, under “Billing”, then “Manage subscription and invoices”.

What does the assistant do, and what does it cost?

The assistant fills in your search from your sentence, counts businesses, creates lists and runs enrichments. Open it with “AI assistant” at the top of every page (on mobile, the “Chat” tab), or ⌘K (Ctrl+K).

A message costs 5 credits. Clicking a list’s buttons, or one of the answers the assistant suggests, is free up to a daily limit. A paid action shows its cost: “Approve” or “Decline”. The “Don’t ask me again below N credits” box lets small actions through; deleting always asks.

For a new, broad request, choosing the categories can take a minute the first time and a few seconds after that: the steps show while you wait.

Data and contact

What do “deliverable”, “catch-all”, “risky” and “undeliverable” mean?

“(guessed)”: a common address for the website’s domain (info@…) that passed our check. The “Verify emails” box at creation, or the same button on the list, checks the main email of each row, 1 credit per email; otherwise it’s “unverified”:

  • “deliverable”: the mail server accepts it;
  • “catch-all”: the server accepts every address, without saying whether this one is read;
  • “risky”: the server doesn’t answer clearly;
  • “undeliverable”: the address doesn’t exist or can’t be used;
  • “no result”: malformed address, or no answer from the check;
  • “pending”: check in progress.

“Other emails” aren’t verified. An undeliverable email is refunded only in a “Has email” list.

“·N”: an email shared by N businesses, often a chain; “Only emails unique to the business” filters them out.

Where does the data come from, and what’s missing?

Businesses come from Google Maps listings, supplemented with open place databases in the US and by the national business registry (SIRENE) and public directories in France. We read their websites to collect emails, phone numbers and social profiles.

The database is refreshed continuously, but a row can be a few weeks old: a business may have closed or changed its number since.

It doesn’t include businesses without a Google Maps listing, consumers or revenue data. We don’t yet measure what share of all businesses in a country it covers.

A business can ask us to remove its information by emailing contact@primaverapp.com.

Which countries can I search?

Several countries, with the same screens and the same prices. The flag menu at the start of the Location row shows which: open countries can be picked, the others are grayed out (“not available yet”). You can also type the city in the location (“Chicago”). A search covers one country.

Outside France, ZIP and postal codes can’t be searched yet, and Decision makers is available only in France and the US (through a web search). Emails come in as we read the websites in each country.

For cold email, the rules of the contacted business’s country apply. In Canada, the anti-spam law (CASL) allows prospecting emails to a business address that’s published (on the website, for example) with no statement refusing them, if the message relates to the business; it must say who’s sending it and let people unsubscribe.

Can I send cold emails to US businesses?

Yes. In the US, the federal CAN-SPAM Act allows cold emails without prior consent, as long as each email says who’s sending it, has a subject line that isn’t misleading, identifies itself as an ad, includes a valid postal address and lets people unsubscribe; opt-out requests must be honored within 10 business days. You’re responsible for what you send.

Can I email businesses in France (GDPR)?

Yes, business to business. In France, the CNIL (the data protection authority) allows B2B cold emails without prior consent, if the message relates to the recipient’s work and lets them unsubscribe easily. Generic addresses (contact@, info@) aren’t personal data. You’re responsible for what you send.

How do I reach a person?

In Help, “Talk to a person”, under the text box, sends your message to a person, with what they need to answer you (your account, the page, your latest messages with Help). With an account, you also get an email confirming we received it.

You can also email contact@primaverapp.com, with your account email and, if relevant, the name of the list.

We usually reply within one business day.
